The official website of Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight updates with images featuring Harley Quinn, Penguin, Two-Face, and the Batmobile.

Now that we’ve properly had time to adjust to the reality that Rocksteady will be making their triumphant return to the Arkham series, the groundbreaking Batman series that broke the long streak of unsatisfactory Batman games  by finally being able to channel the Dark Knight and providing an incredible in-game experience. When the news broke, my mind nearly melted. I could not process a thing for hours afterward. In fact, I was completely and utterly fooled by that Hoverboard hoax. Yeah, it was a shameful time in my life… but who cares, Rocksteady is back!

The trailer gave us a few split-second looks at some of the returning rogues and I’d imagine people wanted a better look at them. With that, Rocksteady made sure to release a few images, including what appears to be some Harley Quinn art, different from the quick shot of her in the trailer. Because… everybody needs more Harley Quinn. Aside from that, we’ve got some pretty high quality wallpaper material here for you straight from that wonderful trailer, some nice glamour shots of the Batmobile, and the game’s box art.

Though I love Harley’s new look, I knew immediately something wasn’t sitting right with me. It took me a long time to put my finger on it, but I finally figured out that Harley’s makeup looks more natural than it’s ever been. Her eye shadow and eye liner aren’t as heavily caked on as before. Asylum‘s Harley wore the domino mask, City‘s Harley wore makeup that was trying to mimic the domino mask. Now, it seems they’re simply acknowledging it, paying tribute, and then modernizing it for practicality’s sake. I could be reading too much into it, however. As with the Batmobile, I can’t seem to get over the headlights in the wheels! Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t that the first time that’s ever been done?
