In the past few months, DKN has been bringing you the latest news surrounding the fan film Gotham City Sirens. Our readers have expressed great interest and responded in a rather positive manner to the various trailers that have dropped. Well, the wait is over and the film can be viewed in the video embedded above!

Detroit based director Terrell Culbert’s gritty piece featuring some of Gotham City’s most dangerous femme fatales doesn’t pull any punches. This stylish picture is executed with a straight face and manages to capture the essence of the three main characters, who are amazingly fleshed out in twenty-four minutes. I must also applaud those involved in the costuming and makeup of this film.

Much like the Gotham City Sirens comic book series, the three central characters are Catwoman (Leez Nikollaj), Poison Ivy (Kelly Kirstein), and Harley Quinn (Kristina Martin). I don’t mean to sound like I’m playing favorites just because Catwoman is my favorite female character in all of comics, but Nikollaj’s Selina Kyle was the one I enjoyed most. Don’t get me wrong, the other villainesses did a good job as well. It’s just that I felt Nikollaj had the right look for the character and portrayed her rather convincingly.

Some other Batman villains make appearances and I won’t spoil their identities – I want you to go into this film fresh. Culbert hopes to develop this into a web series and the end certainly lends itself to another installment. Stay tuned to DKN should any more Gotham City Sirens news hit the streets.

“Gotham City Sirens” is a fan film that tells the story of an unstable alliance between Pamela Lillian Isley, Harley Quinn and Selina Kyle. Each of them has a dark past and reputations that have made them into some of Gotham’s most notorious criminals.

Catwoman has always been a highly skilled thief and a loner. So when she teams up with Ivy and Harley it’s to pursue a very lucrative business opportunity. Naturally it’s illegal. But during this partnership Selina has to make some harsh decisions, choices that beg the question is she friend or foe to her new surrogate family.
