Another weekend for Suicide Squad and another milestone has been reached.
This past weekend, the film made $4.7 million domestically. This makes its North American total $313.8 million so far. In the international market, the David Ayer-directed movie passed the $400 million milestone when it added $5.8 million to its coffers for a foreign gross of $405.1 million. The film has currently made a worldwide total of $718.9 million.
The interesting tidbit about Suicide Squad’s box office success is that its worldwide total has surpassed Marvel Studio’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The Winter Soldier made a grand total of $714.4 million. Of course, Suicide Squad is still not quite done with its theatrical run yet, so who knows how much more it can earn.
